I am extremely satisfied with the Tonica strings set for the violin and Laubach Gold Rosin. The Tonica strings offer an inexpensive alternative to the known Dominant strings. The Tonica strings have good elasticity and provide an easier playability and a warmer sound. Thanks a lot.

I really like these Tonika strings because they seem to be fairly well made and they're cheap. The original E string I got with my violin broke pretty quickly after I got it, but this new one has lasted through much more abuse and shows no sign of breaking anytime soon. I think the sound produced is better as well, though I have no clue how it stacks up to more expensive violin strings. I don't really have anything bad to say about these Tonika strings, but I gave them four stars simply because I have an electric violin and can't speak to their tone in an acoustic.

弦和微调已安好,还不错 ,音质很好 。待用一段时间声音会更好
我们小提琴老师推荐的,训练用弦老师说这种就可以了,音色好,性价比高,耐用!

Tonica strings are a great choice if you want a warm, mellow sound. If you have an inexpensive instrument, one that's too bright, or just want a prettier tonality, they could make it sound much better.

In synthetics, the dominant is king. Simulating gut? I guess. I'd recommend Eudoxas for that though.

I play on paesold instruments, so I was curious when I was asked to test a new product. I normally use Evah Pirazzi's, so the comparison was tempting, being that the Pirazzi’s are a little on the expensive side. I have played on Dominants in the past, liked their warmth and roundness of tone, but changed to the Pirazzi’s to get the extra dynamic performance. These Ren Wei Shi strings are a better playing string than the Dominants were, but not quite up to the Pirazzi level. Then I consider the price difference, and these strings actually perform better than the Dominants at about half the price. I also tried them on a $99 violin, and it’s amazing how the sound improves with just a $30 investment in top quality strings! All things considered, definitely a 5 star rating. Very good sound and playability, and at a price that you can afford to change them every 3 months.
